WELCOME TO THE INDEPENDENT DOG ASSOCIATION
Welcome to our web site, we hope you find it enjoyable and informative.
Association means union or group of like-minded people and everyone in the Association has the best interest of all wolf look alike dogs at heart.
The Association is run democratically and takes the views of its member associations and registries into account when making decisions. Member associations and registries are given support and encouragement to actively promote their dogs at local shows, events, our shows, companion dog shows or individual breed shows.
Member associations and registries hold shows up and down the country where there are breed classes for British Timber Dogs, Northern Inuit, Utonagan, etc. to enter and all owners of wolf look alike dogs whether they are association members or not are made very welcome.
We also hold Companion Dog Shows at our events including Novelty classes that all breeds of dogs including mongrels and crossbreeds are welcome to enter.
From time to time our associations and registries also run workshops at shows on Showing, Behaviour, Agility etc.
We also have a Behaviourist and Vet who will answer questions from our members free of charge.
We also work closely with the K.C. and Bronze Award Good Citizen Tests are available where possible at all our shows. We are also hoping to arrange for the Silver and Gold tests to be available together with Council Accredited Tests.
